💡 When He Cut the Light & A Light Came On

Just finished sweeping up what felt like an entire pack of cracker crumbs out of Titus & Pharaoh’s room—for the second time this week đŸ˜© (don’t even ask why)—while Sire and Priest were having a full-blown screaming contest. It took me forever to get them settled.

Somewhere between the crumbs, the cries, and the chaos, irritation started creeping in. My mind went straight to: “My husband’s out enjoying life at the casino, and I’m in here doing this by myself.” đŸ˜€

But then another thought came
maybe that’s for the best. At least one of us isn’t losing our mind tonight. And in that one small, selfless moment, peace washed over me. 🌿

So I kept going. Kept working to calm everyone down.

Finally—finally—they were all settled. 😼‍💹 And that’s when I realized
CRAP! The lights are still on! 💡 These kids will never fall asleep like this.

Then it hit me—my husband has that app on his phone that controls the lights. And in that tiny moment, joy flooded my soul. 🌈 Because I remembered
 I wasn’t really alone. We’re still a team. 💑

And if all he can do tonight is cut the lights from his phone—then I’m immensely grateful. 🙏

Sometimes marriage isn’t about who’s doing what. It’s about remembering you’re still on the same side, even in the middle of the mess. 💛
