Ready. Set. Go! Don’t Look Back

We have completed and celebrated our reset, and now the temptation to go back is stronger than ever.

Remember everything we learned:

Our relationship with the Lord is not defined by our struggles with temptation. Don’t let your relationship with God revolve around whether you sin or don’t sin.

Romans 6:6–11 says:

“Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin… Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

You are not fighting to become free. In Christ, you are learning how to live from the freedom He has already given you.

Your walk with God is not defined by how good you feel or how much favor you can obtain. It is revealed in what you do with temptation, conflict, suffering, disappointment, and the very things you prayed to avoid and remove.

Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 

Acts 14:22 says they were “strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith,” and reminding them, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

The reset was never about creating a life where you never struggle again.

It was about learning not to run from God when you do.

So when the temptation to go back comes, remember what you learned.

You don't have to run.

You don't have to spiral.

You don't have to condemn yourself.

You can return to God.

You can choose obedience again.

You can declare your love for God again— not only with your mouth— but with your heart and your actions.
