It Was All A Dream: šŸŒ‹Pressure at the Precipice

In the very beginning, God placed Adam and Eve in a beautiful garden šŸŒæā€”a place of abundance, peace, and purpose. But let’s take a closer look at how they got themselves kicked out (Genesis 3).

When God asked, ā€œWhere are you?ā€ (Genesis 3:9), the excuses began. Instead of taking responsibility and repenting, they hid. 🤫

šŸ’ What would have happened if they had simply come clean and said, ā€œWe messed up, Lord—please forgive usā€?

They might have been restored. They could’ve started over.

But they couldn’t imagine being placed back in the garden and starting again. That doesn’t mean God wouldn’t have done it.

šŸ‘‰ What they had done was not casual—it was covenant. They were yoked to their decision(Deuteronomy 30:19). Every choice carries weight, and every covenant creates connection—either to God’s promise or to the problem.

⚔ But hear this: God is not just the solution. He existed before the problem ever appeared. (John 1:1) He’s not your quick fix—He’s your foundation, your Creator, your constant. He’s that and so much more than you can comprehend right now (Ephesians 3:20). ✨

šŸ”„ Where Did You Make Your Big Mistake?

Imagine God just dropped you right back where it all went wrong. šŸ’

šŸ‘‰ This time, choose Him.

But remember—there’s pressure at the precipice.

Right at the brink of breakthrough for God’s glory, the enemy comes to steal it (John 10:10). šŸ

āš”ļø The Word That Goes Before You

The Word of God prepares you before the test ever comes. Adam and Eve weren’t aware of that truth—but we are.

When we are unaware, we must draw on the Word.

Not on the forbidden tree 🌳, not on the surroundings, not on the comfort of the familiar—because all that changes, ends, dies.

But the Word of God is eternal (Isaiah 40:8). ✨

šŸ’” What you feed yourself matters. What you feed your soul determines what grows in your spirit. If you keep feeding fear, doubt, and distraction—you’ll harvest confusion. But if you feed on the Word, you’ll produce wisdom, peace, and purpose (Matthew 4:4). šŸžšŸ“–

šŸ¤ The Company You Keep

ā€œBad company corrupts good character.ā€ — 1 Corinthians 15:33

But great company—those rooted in the Word—produces godly character.

Adam and Eve already had godly character and a covenant with God. But they couldn’t keep their end of the covenant without Jesus.

So Jesus fulfilled the covenant for them—and for us. šŸ™Œ

šŸœ 40 Days in the Wilderness

For 40 days in the wilderness, Jesus was pressing, not preaching. (Matthew 4:1–11)

He was pressing through hunger, temptation, and silence. He wasn’t walking away from anything—He simply wasn’t going back to it either.

He wasn’t being tested to fail; He was being proven faithful.

šŸ’§ Forty days later, He ate again.

You will too. šŸ½

And here’s something to think about:

If Adam and Eve had been fasting, they wouldn’t have fallen.

Because fasting kills the appetite that feeds disobedience.

The very thing that tripped them up was the thing Jesus laid down. šŸ™Œ

Where Adam and Eve ate and fell, Jesus fasted and rose. āœļø

If there’s anything you need to walk away from for good—walk away for God’s glory.

There is more required of you.

šŸ’Ž Be Set Apart

Do not be distracted—because distraction means to be dis-appointed, torn apart from your divine assignment.

Instead, be set apart (Romans 12:2). 🌟

Don’t worry.

God is getting ready to press RESTART. šŸ”„

It’s all going to make sense soon…

šŸ‘ Fix Your Focus

So maybe you’ve been asking, ā€œJesus, fix it.ā€

But He’s asking back, ā€œWhat’s your fix?ā€

Because sometimes, He’s not changing the situation—He’s changing your sight. šŸ‘€

He’s saying, ā€œFix your eyes back on Me.ā€

(2 Corinthians 4:18, Hebrews 12:2)

And notice in Genesis 2, Adam fell into a deep sleep — and Scripture never says he woke up (Genesis 2:21).

ā€œAre you awake yet? Are you living in Adam’s dream, or are you stepping into Christ’s consciousness?ā€

You don’t need another fix—you need focus. A fix will keep you asleep. You need to wake up.

You do not need a patch for your pain, but a person for your purpose. āœļø

Keep your eyes on Him through the pressure,

and you’ll see what the precipice was really for—

your transformation, not your termination.šŸŒ…

If life has been feeling like a bit of a nightmare lately, know this: it was alll a dream. You can start over. All you have to do is WAKE UP.

šŸ’¬ Reflection Question:

Where are you right now—hiding like Adam, or pressing like Jesus?
