Catch Holy Fire in the Cool of the Day

When we think of day and night, we often think of the sun, the moon, and the stars.

But here’s the thing—

the sun, moon, and stars didn’t appear untilday four.

Yet day and night existed from the first day.

Yesterday, we talked about seasons and cycles. Seasons are set times.

Day and night are both seasons.

Dayis the set time for God’s glory to be revealed.

Nightis the set time for His glory to be hidden.

So—what is a day?

A day is not the time when the sun shines,

but when the Son shines.

And day is not a term for twenty-four hours,

but a period when God chooses to manifest Himself however He desires. On day 1 He chose to make day and night, on day 3 God made land, seas, and plants.

A day can last as long as human history or be as brief as a single moment. Time on earth is not heaven’s time.

The Lord spoke to Adam and Eve in the “cool of the day.” The word cool meaning “Ruach” or “Spirit”

Jesus said, “Give us this day our daily bread.”

Because it’s not just important—it’s imperative, paramount—to know what God is up to.

God created us on day six and rested on day seven.

That wasn’t just a pattern—it was an invitation.

We’re supposed to rest in Him, not be self-reliant or self-sufficient.

Every day, we choose: will we work with God, or against Him?

But how can we know which side we’re choosing

if we don’t even recognize what God is doing?

God ministers before He manifests. He speaks things before they appear.

If we can’t discern what He has said or done,

we never get to see the light of day.

We walk in the dark of night—letting life happen to us instead of creating it with God.

So—find out what God is doing today, and embrace it.

That’s how you catch the fire of the Holy Ghost.

The Word says, “Be still, and know that I am God.”

Some things you cannot know unless you’re still enough to hear Him.

You must be cool, calm, and collected—at peace—to hear God clearly.

Today, I heard God making His children peaceful.

We will see them surrounded by peace.

God is even putting their enemies at peace with them.

He’s working from the inside out—developing our spiritual integrity.

Teaching us to consistently cast our cares on Him.

So we stop fighting wars around us while neglecting the war within.

I see the spirit of consistency resting on our lives.

And God sees it too.

We are finally becoming holy—

and God is about to bless us like we’ve been walking that way all along.

You and I must decide: Don’t go back.

It’s a new day. And being “cool” isn’t a feeling. It’s a meeting location for God. You can only find it — AT PEACE!!

Hold your peace so the Lord can visit you and tell you what He has planned. Hold your peace because there’s nothing for you outside of God and His peace.

Let Him encourage your spirit and speak to your soul.

That’s fuel to the fire of God in you.

And when you’re not happy—when pain tries to take center stage—remember the Scriptures:

“Whatever is good… think on these things.”

“Do not worry, but with thanksgiving, pray.”

These are not just cute sayings.

They’re commands from God—because we were not made for cares,

but for prayers.
