Wisdom Calls: Arise, Praying Witnesses

God’s gonna use everything from yesterday.
I couldn’t even get it all out. I left out an important piece of revelation—probably to our benefit. You’ll see why in a sec. Hold on.
At Temple of Praise, the minister said something that’s still sitting in my spirit:
“Understanding is not the same as knowing... we don’t have to understand to know God.”
That touched me.
Then over at Impact One, Pastor Juan never finished that first sermon, “Do It Quickly,” in the second service like he said he would.
But they praised God Almighty all day—tarried and carried on like a good fellowship should!
And here’s what stuck with me:
Pastor Juan did a Proverbs 3:5–6 demonstration. A living word.
“We fall when we lean on our own understanding.”
But here’s my thing:
I want to understand the things I need to understand.
So did Eve… when she ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 😈🌳 She went outside of God to get wisdom. And it was foolish. It takes wisdom to seek wisdom from GOD. That’s why fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
the Word also says this:
📖 James 1:5 (NKJV)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
It’s imperative—not optional—to acquire and apply knowledge.
And that?
That’s done through prayer.
How do I know when I need to pray for wisdom?
Simple:
Anytime you’re contemplating.
If you don’t ask for and apply God’s wisdom, the decision you make on your own will demand your attention later.
You won’t have everything you love simply because you refused to love everything you have.
📍 Here’s What Wisdom Teaches:
Never make decisions on your own.
You were never meant to (Gen 2:18).
People are here to help you do what God said do.
God places wise counsel, witnesses, and covering in your life to confirm the instruction and walk with you in obedience.
And God?
He’s not just here to help youdowhat He said—
He’s here to help younot dowhat He saiddon’t do.
Wisdom listens.
Wisdom includes others.
Wisdom waits.
Let’s not just be thinkers.
Let’s be praying witnesses—who ask, wait, obey, and walk in wisdom.

I needed to see this. As I’ve asked God about a decision but haven’t asked for wisdom surrounding the decision
